The movie is brilliantly put but only downside is the length of the movie. Thanks to the wonderful editing, it does not seems lagging despite of the 3 hrs journey. I have never seen any actor so prepared to get in somebody's else shoe. When Farhan runs it is not like a movie star 'running in slow motion to his last breadth' but it seems to be of a run of an athlete who has dedicated his life to track and field. Loved the Bhangda steps, many of the Punjabi don't carry out Bhangra with so much perfection.
Talking about his acting will be an insult for this genuine actor. To wrap things up, never seen a biopic so well made and portrayed. A big m/ m/ to the team.

I remember there was a play opening in Delhi, The Kingdom of Dreams. The place was opening, this was four years ago and I bumped into Shankar and Ehsaan out there. They had sung for the opening night and I was there and we didn’t stay back for the after party we went to the hotel. I said ‘Hey you know what? I just met Milkha Singh and we are writing this story.' I spoke to them about it and we started talking music and then ideas came up. Then most of the music happened outside the studio.
